WHERE WE DINE
For the past 18 years, Mimo and Oshrat have been hosting Shabbat dinners at their home, pouring their passion into creating a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone who joins. What began as an intimate gathering has grown into something extraordinary. Over the last two years, the crowds have swelled to over 100 guests at times, reflecting the growing desire within the community to come together and celebrate Shabbat in a warm and inviting environment.
Recognizing this growth and the profound impact of these gatherings, a few dedicated Congregation Beth Tefillah members came together to form The Shabbat Club. Their mission? To support Mimo and Oshrat in their heartfelt endeavor to share the beauty and joy of Shabbat with as many people as possible.
WHAT WE EAT
Both Mimo and Oshrat were born into Sephardic Jewish families, and they infuse every Shabbat dinner with their rich cultural heritage. Their home is filled with the aromas of lovingly prepared dishes, crafted from cherished family recipes that have been passed down through generations.
Beyond the cuisine, it’s the unique atmosphere they create – a blend of warmth, laughter, and deep connection – that makes The Shabbat Club special.
